Spring Sensory Tub

I love sensory tubs and enjoy making as many as I can for my daughter. This specific sensory tub is based on a spring theme. I gave her some tongs and she used them to transfer balls, pompoms, and butterflies to the second tray. The spoons were also there for her to transfer rice from one platter to another. I also made little wooden peg people and made up stories with them along with the frog & butterfly. She also added the rice to the plant pots and pompoms on the top to make flowers.

While playing I discussed spring with my daughter, the colors of the season and the plants we can grow during this time.
